Experienced HVAC Construction Mechanic

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Construction Mechanic to join our field operations team. This role is responsible for installing, assembling, and supporting HVAC systems on commercial and industrial construction projects. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on field experience, can work independently or as part of a crew, and is comfortable working on active construction job sites.

Key Responsibilities

Install HVAC systems including ductwork, piping, equipment, and related components on commercial/industrial job sites
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Perform layout, measurement, and fabrication work as required
Assist in startup, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems
Coordinate with superintendents, and other trades on site
Ensure all work is completed according to safety standards and project requirements
Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues in the field
Maintain tools, equipment, and jobsite cleanliness
Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines at all times

Qualification

3–7+ years of experience in Commercial/Industrial HVAC construction / mechanical installation
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems (ductwork, piping, commercial equipment)
Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
Familiar with OSHA safety standards and jobsite protocols
Ability to work in physically demanding environments (lifting, climbing, standing long hours)
Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
Experience in large-scale commercial or industrial projects (warehouses, factories, plants)（Preferred）
Welding or sheet metal fabrication experience is a plus（Preferred）
EPA certification or relevant HVAC certifications（Preferred）
Experience working in traveling or multi-site construction environments（Preferred）
